MARITIME MINISTER TO OPEN SEAWORK 2018

Nusrat Ghani

Appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Transport in early January 2018, Nusrat Ghani is the minister responsible for Maritime, Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), Maritime Security, Skills and Apprenticeships and the Year of Engineering.

Nusrat Ghani’s previous appointments have seen her in the roles of Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Home Office and Chair of the Prime Minister’s Apprenticeship Diversity Network.

Mercator Media is delighted that Ms Ghani will officially open Seawork International, Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition, in this its 21st year, recognising the importance of this event to the European commercial marine industry.

Seawork provides buyers and influencers with direct access to the commercial marine and workboat market, its equipment, its innovations and its people.

Nusrat Ghani’s attendance at the exhibition is particularly welcome as Seawork will celebrate Women in the Marine Industry with a new networking event this year on Wednesday 4th July.
