Goodchild handover Crew Transfer vessel
Alan Goodchild, Managing Director of Goodchild Marine, handed over the latest build of a Crew Transfer Vessel to client Stuart Hedges, Commercial RIB Charter (CRC).
The aluminium-hulled 15m multi-role Cabin RIB was designed specifically for CRC and will go into wind farm related service in August of this year.
The CRC Voyager can carry 12 passengers and 2 crew with a 1,500kg payload, is powered by 2 Volvo Penta D6-435 engines with 2 x Hamilton waterjet HJ332 and a Fischer Panda 8000 generator.
It features a large clear aft deck area with stowage and mounting points and two rescue zones complete with Jason’s Cradle. The cabin contains 14 Grammer suspension seats, a galley unit, heads and a shower.
Goodchild are currently building another two vessels for CRC.
