Technology companies benefit with Seawork
Maritime businesses from all corners of the world who are involved in the fast-paced and innovative world of technology are reaping the rewards of exhibiting at Seawork.
GP Link offers a solution for vessel management including the ability to capture maximum fuel efficiency. Remote monitoring and tracking data sent via satellite or GSM is kept for seven years so that data can be utilised for onshore administration.
“Seawork has been amazing, we have achieved a huge amount of business under one roof, it’s the quality of the enquiries here rather than the quantity – we have seen the right people!” says Tony Lock, UK Distributor for US-based GP Link.
Next year looks set to continue in this successful vein, with even greater opportunities for exhibitors and visitors. Tony Lock continued, saying, “The move to Mayflower Park will be brilliant.”
Mark Harris, of Cygnus Instruments, exhibiting at stand A46 at Seawork 2016, which provide multi-mode ultrasonic thickness gauges, reported, “We have exhibited here for four years and it's a great show for us businesswise.”
Another technology company, Solar Technology were first time exhibitors in 2015. Adrian Williams, owner of Solar Technology said, “It has been a successful show for us with masses of contacts made – we are drowning in leads! We are unique at Seawork as a manufacturer of solar panels, not just a distributor, so we can offer custom built panels to suit specific applications."
CA Clase, which provides mobile communications and marine electronics, and DuPre Marine which provides FLIR thermal imaging, bridge monitors, anti-piracy and sound signal solutions, were amongst the first exhibitors to sign up to attend Seawork next year.
Find out more about these businesses in the online Seawork Directory. Seawork International will return 14-16 June 2016 at its new permanent home at Mayflower Park, in Southampton, UK.
