Operational oversight from Dyena
Established in 2005 as a design consultancy company, Dyena now produces its own range of products, including the Dyena Offshore Scout, as a direct response to the maritime industries requirement to monitor marine personnel's levels of exposure to shock and vibration during their daily activities.
Since releasing its original device in 2012, Dyena has continued to advance its vessel monitoring systems, supplying government agencies including the Royal Navy, US Navy, and commercial wind farm operators such as E.ON and RWE.
Dyena Offshore Scout enables vessel operators to maintain operational oversight; protecting their workforce from exposure to shock and vibration and thereby maximising productivity and wellbeing of staff.
Providing operational data that covers a wide range of offshore activities including vessel motion monitoring, vibration and impact exposure, crew tracking, system maintenance and remote working apps, Dyena Offshore Scout provides a complete monitoring package in one carry-on case. Incorporating a high capacity lithium ion battery and internal GPS, over 24 hours continuous operation can be achieved by simply strapping the box to the vessel.
Suitable for all vessel types, the system can be used on 5m to 190m vessels including Inshore Patrol, WFSV; monitoring crew, vessel or cargo.
Dyena will be attending Speed@Seawork which takes place 10-11 June as part of Seawork 2019.
