Be a part of Speed@Seawork 2019

High speed at Speed@Seawork - sea trial day will also feature pertinent key note speeches from experts and industry influencers

10–11 June 2019 are the dates for your diary. A unique event for those involved in the design, build and operation of fast vessels operating at high speed for security interventions and SAR, Speed@Seawork offers exciting opportunities for exhibiting, delegate attendance, sponsorship and demonstrations.

Fast vessels operating at high speed for security interventions and SAR (Search And Rescue) are a significant specialist sector of the commercial marine business.

Held as part of Seawork itself, the second edition will take place on Monday 10 in Cowes IOW, UK, and Tuesday 11 June at the Seawork exhibition in Southampton UK.  Sea trials, to be held on day one of Speed@Seawork and coordinated from the event base in Cowes, will see a flotilla of craft take to the variable waters and conditions of the Solent. Tactical water craft, bespoke RIBs, and other vessels modified to handle the demanding environments of military and commercial operations will be on demonstration duties.

Delegates can expect to access sector-specific companies throughout the day and, proving popular during the 2018 event, sea trial day will also feature pertinent key note speeches from experts and industry influencers in the fast ops field; focussing on practice, people and procurement.

Speed@Seawork will conclude with the half-day Speed@Seawork Conference to be held on Tuesday 11 June at Seawork itself.  Topics covered will include; hull design, vessel building, propulsion, navigation and communication, in addition to biomechanics and crew welfare. Specialist equipment manufacturers, operators and trainers will lead the conference sessions and the conference is designed to provide industry insights and methods of improving operations and cost efficiency.
