See the world’s innovations at Seawork
Organisations are invited to submit their innovative products and services into the 2017 Innovation Showcase, which highlights the best new products, solutions and services that the commercial marine and workboat sector has to offer.
The Innovations Showcase is a great opportunity to encourage, reward and gain recognition for the outstanding work that businesses and individuals are achieving within the commercial marine and workboat sector.
The Innovation Showcase will be located in the Pacific Hall from the 13-15 of June at Seawork International.
Visitors to Seawork International will have the opportunity to see new products, projects, services and vessels that have been introduced by Seawork exhibitors during the past twelve months, at one time and in one place.
It is the ideal chance for visitors and exhibitors alike to keep up to date with the latest opportunities and see the wealth of new ideas, skills and technologies which exist in the maritime sector.
Entries are encouraged from all aspects of the commercial marine sector, from vessel design and construction, to propulsion, through to safety & training.
To qualify, all entries must have recently come to market with their innovation and provide a valuable solution to any aspect of the commercial marine sector, such as design, technology or application.
The Showcase provides free publicity and further opportunities for entrants; recognising the wealth of new ideas, skills and technologies which exist in the commercial marine sector.
The overall winner receives extensive publicity and support through Seawork’s extensive network of media partners including Maritime Journal; and enhanced credibility through use of the globally acknowledged Innovations Award branding for use on collateral, the winner will also receive the highly coveted Spirit of Innovation Trophy.
The Showcase welcomes submissions from all areas of the commerical marine and workboat sector including: Vessel Design & Construction, Marine Civil Engineering & Construction Marine Equipment, Electronics & Materials Diving & Underwater Technology Renewable Energy, and Safety & Training
The Previous winner, Duo-Drive is taking the world by storm following it's victory as Overall Winner at the Innovation Awards at Seawork International 2016.
As a direct result of winning DuoDrive was invited to showcase their ground-breaking DuoDrivetrain© at two highly regarded events, including Innovate 2016, bringing the global spotlight on UK innovation.

For the first time, and as part of the new European Commercial Marine Awards, the Innovation Showcase is open for submissions from both Seawork exhibitors (gratis), and non-exhibitors (£200 entry fee).
