Shout about your plans to protect the marine environment
As part of the commitment to delivering an environmentally friendly and sustainable exhibition Seawork organisers will partner with Sea-Changers at the 2020 event.
Sea-Changers is a charity with the mission of raising thousands of pounds for marine conservation charities, primarily in the UK. It gives grants to UK marine charities and not for profit organisations for conservation and research projects.
Both before and at Seawork organisers and Sea-Changers will encourage exhibitors to provide pledges of how they plan to make environmental changes going forward. These will be displayed at Seawork in a dedicated area which will also feature the global Big Blue Ocean Clean Up charity.
Sea-Changers was founded by Helen Webb and Rachel Lopata. They run the organisation on a voluntary basis, with the support of the board of trustees and a wider network of volunteers.
The charity works through partnerships with commercial organisations, many of which serve consumers or other businesses that are accessing, enjoying or travelling via the sea.
Exhibitors can make pledges now by e-mailing email@example.com
