Daily Keynote business briefings - new for 2020
New for 2020 is the introduction of daily Business Briefings. The concept is for a Keynote speaker to deliver a short informative address from the floor on one of the latest business imperatives.
The first of the Keynote speakers is Christopher Robert Lloyd. His recent presentations have addressed the hot issue of Decommissioning Windfarms and Offshore Structures and the ensuing commercial opportunities.
Christopher’s experience is impressive. He is an associate consultant and project manager at PetroMall, and currently consulting in the offshore energy space in which decommissioning is playing an increasingly large part. Formerly business development manager and strategic project manager with Reef Subsea, an offshore construction and survey company which performed key parts of the Fife, Fergus, Flora and Angus (FFFA) decommissioning projects, Christopher is an experienced chartered engineer and operations manager having worked for the last 15 years in the North Sea and Norwegian Continental Shelf. During his time at Saipem UK Limited he worked on one of the North Sea’s first major decommissioning project for the Frigg field and MCP-01 in 2007-2008, requiring the removal of four steel jacket structures and six topside platforms. He also spent four years at Statoil ASA as a project manager for various offshore developments.
The daily Keynote talks will take place on the floor of the Seawork and M&CCE exhibitions in a dedicated theatre-style presentation area. Seawork and M&CCE Expo attract over 7,700 contractors, consultants, marine operations managers and other commercial marine professionals and 600+ exhibitors over 3 days.
