Seawork offers a unique combination of undercover exhibition space, open air demonstrations and floating displays, all occurring in the exciting atmosphere of Mayflower Park Southampton. The venue encompasses:
- 18,000m² of undercover space spread over two purpose-built exhibition halls
- Purpose built pontoons for more than 70 vessels and floating exhibits
- Demonstrations out on the water
- Quayside area for trailers, large exhibits and outdoor demonstrations
- Excellent conference and meeting facilities
Trails and Pavilions
Dedicated Pavilions and Trails at Seawork help visitors to quickly identify exhibitors, conferences and seminars of particular interest.
Trails are highlighted with particular logos printed on exhibitors' fascia boards. Pavilions are a grouping of similar companies placed together at the exhibition.
The Superyacht Build, Repair and Refit Trail is a new feature for 2018. Superyachts often share the needs of design, propulsion and support with commercial marine vessels and require similar skillsets from commercial marine professionals.
The new Composites Pavilion will feature many of the sophisticated materials and techniques used to build large vessels that demonstrate a clear overlap between commercial marine and the superyacht sector.
The Maritime Training & Skills Trailenables attendees to explore training, apprenticeships, employment and educational opportunities. Specialist maritime recruitment companies, education centres and training organisations provide expert advice to attendees on entering the industry, and learning, maintaining and developing a successful maritime career.
DiveWork is a showcase for the commercial underwater industry, covering all sectors of offshore, inshore and inland activity. DiveWork consists of a pavilion and a trail and includes a DiveTank on the quayside where the latest underwater equipment and services will be demonstrated.
The Marine RenewableTrail groups organisations in the renewable energy sector, This trail of companies includes wind farm service vessels, marine civil engineering companies, professional divers, safety equipment suppliers and many more.
The Maritime Security Pavilion, supported by ADS, is a platform for companies wishing to supply products and services to the Military, Police, Port Authorities, Harbour Masters and other Defence and Security Personnel.
RIBWork is a showcase for RIB designers, builders and operators and those who manufacture and supply equipment to the commerical RIB market.
The Shipyard Pavilion has been revitalised with the Society of Maritime Industries (SMI), partnered with Seawork. The SMI is the trade association of the UK’s maritime engineering and business sector, promoting and supporting companies working in this global and dynamic sector.
Travelling to Seawork:
Car Parks - Seawork visitors can park in any local public car park. We recommend West Quay Multi Story which charges just £5 per day.
Free Shuttle Buses to/from Southampton Central Train Station - there is a shuttle bus service running between Southampton Central train station and Seawork. These buses will leave from the train station approximately every 15 minutes, from 08:30 until 18:30 throughout the exhibition (three days). The shuttle buses are free of charge
