2014 Numbers up
Following its strongest performance to date, Seawork 2014 will offer more stands, more facilities and more opportunities than ever before.
With year-on-year reservations showing positive growth, exhibition organisers Mercator Media, have taken the bold but calculated decision to increase the floor plan by a further 15% on 2013 by opening up the whole of Hall C.
To facilitate faster entry for the 7,000+ visitors and improve traffic flow throughout the exhibition and onto the quayside and pontoons, two registration areas (in Hall A and Hall C) are planned. Coaches from the free car parks and Southampton Central Station will drop off alternately to both entrances to spread the influx of visitors throughout the exhibition.
Catering will be further enhanced in 2014 by an entirely new restaurant in Hall C, similar in capacity and choice to the established set-up in Hall A. This development will save visitors and exhibitors time queuing, while also providing a comfortable place to meet and discuss business off-stand.
From an organisational point of view, an interesting feature of the booking schedule is the number of exhibitors re-booking for 2014 by the end of August 2013. The high level of exhibitors returning for next year, many – including Bainbridge International, Marine & Industrial Transmissions and Strategic Marine from Australia - requesting bigger stands, has contributed to the Seawork management expanding the boundaries of the exhibition once again.
Companies wishing to take advantage of the three-day commercial marine business opportunity that Seawork offers should get in touch with the sales team on +44 (0)1329 825335 or email@example.com. Exhibitors reserving space are immediately listed on the Seawork website and the 2014 list already features high profile names such as Damen Shipyards, Harken, Furuno, Hamilton Jet and Scania.
Companies wishing to discuss sponsorship opportunities or demonstrations should also make contact with the sales team as soon as possible. Sponsors will also be featured separately on the Seawork website.
