MIT signs with Servogear
Seawork 2015 witnessed gear and transmissions specialist, Marine & Industrial Transmissions (MIT) sign a service agreement with fellow exhibitor, Servogear based in Norway.
The service agreement formalises the working agreement that has been in existence for a number of years, and further establishes the strong relationship between the two companies.
Servogear AS, based in Norway, is a leading manufacturer of controllable pitch propeller systems, the Servogear Ecoflow Propulsor™, for high-speed workboats, fast ferries, offshore vessels and yachts.
As part of the agreement, further MIT technical staff with be trained on Servogear products and current service engineers will be refreshed on the product range.
MIT will be responsible for installation, repair and warranty work on Servogear products throughout the UK. In addition to this MIT will hold spare parts, provide customers with technical support and attend start-up and commissioning of the products.
