MIT hits 40
Marine & Industrial Transmissions Ltd (MIT) celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and will be commemorating the achievement at Seawork.
Since the company formed in 1974, it has expanded and developed to be the UK’s prime supplier of new units, spares and service of marine gears, power-shift transmissions, power take offs and associated products for drive-line and propulsion systems for both marine and non-marine applications.
MIT has two fully equipped facilities in the UK and works with some of the world’s most well- known and respected brands, including Twin Disc, Transfluid, Nico, Rolla, Arneson, Technodrive, BCS, Doen Water Jets, Steibel, Quincy Compressors, Rubber Design and, most recently, CMC Marine.
In addition to celebrating its first 40 years, MIT is also collating stories of memorable moments to mark the event and warmly welcomes any contributions.
MIT would like to thank its existing suppliers and customers for their support and business in the last 40 years and looks forward to welcoming them onto this year’s Seawork stand (A93) and working with them in the coming years.
