Light, but tough - new winch from Hercules

Industry Database

A new heavy-duty deck winch, with a variety of applications, is being added to the range of specialist hydraulic winches from Hercules Hydraulics.

The new universal deck winch will be on show for the first time at Seawork. It’s suitable for loads of up to 2.5 tonnes, has been designed for different on-board applications such as fishing, mooring and landing and can also be specified to suit individual customer needs.

The aluminium construction of the winch offers the dual benefit of being lightweight whilst offering rugged and durable performance. A marinised mild steel version is also available.

This new product expands Hercules Hydraulics’s acclaimed range of hydraulic winches, which already features their heavy-duty lightweight anchor winches as well as hydraulic landing, mooring, fishing and tugger winches, all of which are designed and manufactured by Hercules Hydraulics at its premises in Devon, UK.

The company are also pleased to report that a new lightweight Bow Thruster, suitable for even larger vessels than the Company’s existing range, is in development and will be available with a choice of 85, 90 and 95hp variants.

Hercules Hydraulics will be on Stand PY51
