Stalwart Seawork International exhibitor, the renown Naval Architect and Marine Consultant of over 40 years, Ian C. Darley, and H2NA Ltd have announced a new permanent collaboration.

H2NA Ltd was founded in 2014 by James Hare and Phil Henderson on the principle of providing high quality Naval Architecture and Marine Consultancy at competitive prices. With over 30 years’ experience, H2NA Ltd, and Ian C. Darley have announced that they will be formally collaborating over the coming months and years.

Phil Hendersonis a Chartered Naval Architect with over 10 years’ experience, who has specialist knowledge in stability requirements, Lloyds structural strength calculations, production of stability models, vessel survey and inclining experiments.

James Hare, Chartered Naval Architect, has over 28 years’ experience with the UK Ministry of Defence, during which he was head Naval Architect for the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA). This has provided James with a detailed understanding of vessel management, statutory and regulatory certification, the production of stability information books and technical specifications.

Ian has 40 years, experience and has developed an extensive portfolio of maritime craft covering all aspects of the marine industry from multi-purpose work vessels, tugs, passenger craft to patrol boats and fishing vessels. In addition to design, Ian’s expertise includes; re-powering and refit support, arbitration, stability investigations, inclining experiments and stability books and structural and machinery surveys.

Ian C. Darley comments, “Not wanting to retire completely, the collaboration enables me to provide a service to existing and new customers into the future. Working closely with H2NA Ltd over the past two years, they have proven themselves to be a knowledgeable, innovative company with a common approach to quality, at sensible prices that I admire.

He continues, “With their experience of larger vessels coupled with my connections in the workboat market, I am sure that new and existing customers will see the benefit of this new collaboration.”
