ZF Services UK will showcase products from ZF Marine’s propulsion range for fast craft, pleasure craft and commercial vessels at Seawork International 2018, Europe’s largest commercial marine exhibition, taking place at the prestigious Mayflower Park venue in Southampton on 3rd – 5th July.

Among the product highlights to be featured on the ZF Services UK Ltd stand (PO29) will include the ZF AT 3000 RT Thruster and ZF 3300 PTI Transmission.

The ZF AT 3000 RT Thruster is a retractable azimuth thruster, just one of the ZF Marine commercial craft thruster systems that is developed, designed, and produced in-house. Used for auxiliary propulsion systems or to increase the vessel’s ‘station keeping’ capabilities, it draws upon more than 30 years of ZF’s experience in building azimuth propulsion units.

The ZF 3300 PTI Transmission delivers the latest in hybrid-ready propulsion technology for the high-speed pleasure and commercial vessel market in the 1,940 kW (2,600hp) range. Designed to be powered through standard diesel engine input, or via alternate power source through a Power Take In (PTI), the ZF 3300 has the flexibility to be integrated into a wide variety of hybrid vessel propulsion solutions.

In addition to catching a glimpse of its extensive range, visitors will be able to meet ZF Marine’s team of technical experts on stand who will be equipped with a wealth of product information.

Paul Dean, EU Services Zone 2 Sales Marine said: “There’s no better platform to share our latest developments in our propulsion products and technology with our customers than at Seawork, one of the key highlights of the marine industry’s trade show calendar.

“We’re very much looking forward to catching up with our customers and seeing new faces, with the opportunity for all to benefit from some of the exciting things we have lined up.”

ZF is a worldwide leader in marine propulsion systems, supplying systems and components for all types of ships such as motor boats, sail boats, superyachts as well as commercial and government vessels. Its product portfolio is as comprehensive as the applications it provides.
