On a packed stand, SMS Group launched an extensive new range of Bulldog workboats in addition to showcasing its existing Bulldog range of multi-role workboats.

SMS Group is one of the UK’s leading ship repairers and marine engineering service providers and has made major investment with these latest developments. Visitors to the launch were introduced to the new craft consisting of a revised range of standardised work boats, support vessels, landing craft, anchor handling vessels and aquaculture support vessels, ranging from 9m to 36m.

SMS Group Small Boats Manager, David Rutter commented: “The aquaculture is a target for us as it’s a market that is growing and we have a 24m aquaculture vessel, for the tuna market, which is currently in-build.

“As a UK boatbuilder we’re able to offer a wide array of vessels for different sectors, at extremely competitive prices. We offer bespoke packages, as well as a variety of financial and leasing options, which is somewhat of a unique place within a challenging and competitive market.

“For us Seawork is the place to go and is the exhibition for everyone in the industry to show their wares. Whether selling or looking it’s the best place to visit and it has opened up many opportunities for us. And look, you can’t complain when you have a full stand!”
