AMI Marine has launched the ‘X-MDR’, a data recorder that sits between the popular X-VHFR and the mandatory S-VDR system.
The new Modular Data Recorder (X-MDR) offers 8.4” Touch Screen Display, 4x HD IP Cameras (expandable to 16), Bridge audio and VHF recording, GPS time, position and date recording, AIS data recording, ethernet Connection for data download and optional radar video recording.
AMI Marine has also announced its latest engineer tools – the X300 NMEA Tester, used to speed up on board NMEA data checks, is the world’s first complete NMEA 0183 maintenance tool and the X97-BT Acoustic Beacon Tester which is used to test the health and operation of the underwater locator beacon installed on all VDR fixed data capsules.
AMI Marine’s new web site offers an online shop and is joined by other brand manufacturers to offer a single point of purchase for vessel needs, including radios, vessel docking and data recording.
