Malin Workboats, a newly-launched division of Malin Marine Ltd, will be exhibiting vessels built specifically for the aquaculture, port and civils sectors.

Malin Workboats has developed a range of vessels configured with differing hull, deck and machinery arrangements to meet all operational requirements.

David Cockburn has been appointed as the company’s Business Unit Manager. He has extensive industry experience at companies including marine equipment suppliers and marine engine suppliers. He says, “Malin Group has earned its enviable reputation in many areas of the marine industry over its 100-year history and is now bringing that to bear in boat manufacture.

Customers who are looking to the future and innovative hybrid/electric propulsion systems will benefit from our expertise and longstanding experience…We can accommodate a wide variety of configurations, mitigating any risk that could be associated with building a ‘one-off’. Our in-house engineers will provide service and refit support for the lifetime of the boat, allowing future repurposing of the vessels for new tasks by the same people who carried out the original build."
