Innovative HDPE RHIB at Seawork
Izmir Shipyard will exhibit its newest generation of HDPE workboat series, Sea vIZion® at this year’s Seawork.
Sea vIZion® Series is a solid family of small workboats whose design concept is based on three core aspects, safety, functionality and durability. The vessels offer deep V hull shapes for maximum stability, non-slip deck, double bottomed hull and five watertight sections of tubes filled with polystyrene foam for safety.
The huge deck area offers plenty of space and storage with an elevated foredeck and push-up bow for functionality. The construction employs UV resistant HDPE 100 sheets from Röchling®, state of the art hand welding and structurally integrated all-around fenders for durability.
Izmir Shipyard has always had a love and passion for the sea, sailing and the nature. For this reason, Izmir Shipyard has focused extensively on 100% recyclable thermoplastic HDPE material processing for any maritime shape and purposes. The company is also constantly investing in the highest quality standards, highly skilled people, environmentally friendly technologies and innovation.
The company says, “Sea vIZion boats are good to go in the most extreme weather and temperature conditions. The whole family [of vessels] is literally unsinkable floating tanks accompanying you in your most difficult tasks on the seas around the globe!”
