Crown Marine seats ‘Serene’

Recaro Northsea seats from distributor Crown Marine Seats aboard the 82m 'Serene'

Crown Marine Seats Ltd, exclusive dealer for Recaro Maritime seats in the UK and Ireland, has provided seats for the Shetland Isles largest fishing vessel the ‘Serene’.

Shetland-based Serene Fishing Company recently celebrated the arrival of their new 82m pelagic trawler ‘Serene’, the eighth to bear that name, representing a rich history going back to the very first; a wooden drift/seine net boat, built in 1955 at around 70 ft long.

The ‘Serene’s impressive wheelhouse includes three leather Recaro Northsea seats, each mounted on top of a pedestal and fixed to a flush mounted 1.5m long deck rail. The Recaro Northsea is the most popular seat among the options available from Seawork exhibitor Crown Marine Seats, based in Manchester. In addition to the stylish loose leather option selected, the Serene Fishing Company also opted to include embroidered logos in the back of each headrest.

Since forming in 2014 to meet an existing demand for the renowned Recaro brand, Crown Marine Seats has been providing a full range of seating solutions in the UK and Ireland. Vessel types include wind farm support vessels, fast workboats, passenger boats, cruise ships, ROV operator chairs, Naval support vessels and frigates.
