Turnkey supplier and system integrator AERIUS Marine is once again collaborating with Chantiers de l’Atlantique, this time winning the contract for the Orient Express Silenseas project.
AERIUS Marine is a market leader in design, assembly, selection of the components and supply as well as commissioning of maritime HVAC solutions, with a focus on the ferry/cruise, navy vessel, renewables and specialised vessels market segments.
The Orient Express Silenseas is an innovative ultra-luxury cruise liner that will, once finished, be the world’s largest sail ship with 220m in length and a combined sail area of approximately 1,500 square meters. She will have a hybrid propulsion system running on both liquefied natural gas (LNG) in addition to the sails.
AERIUS Marine’s scope for the Orient Express Silenseas contract comprises the basic design for the HVAC system, as well as the HVAC-related electrical design for the accommodation area.
