The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) will have staff available to offer advice on safety issues associated with small commercial vessels and answer questions, especially on current developments in safety technology e.g. PLBs, EPIRBs, emergency preparations and drills and the importance of keeping PFDs and liferafts serviced.
At Seawork MCA will be holding seminars on: Development of Codes of Practice in the Future - Bas Edmonds, MCA Regulatory Delivery officer – (Tuesday 9th June at 15:00 in Conference Room 2) Technology and Autonomy or Alternative Fuels – speaker to be confirmed.
