UK Harbour Masters training courses
IDG Maritime Ltd is conducting three day CPD training courses based on the requirements of the National Occupational Standards for Harbour Masters 2011 and the Port Marine Safety Code.
These are intended to meet the needs of harbour masters and others involved in the marine operations of a port.
The courses are participative, with delegates sharing their knowledge and experience along with that of the other delegates. They are facilitated by two highly experienced former harbour masters with contributions from officers of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, the Marine Accident Investigation Branch, the Marine Management Organisation, a partner from a London law firm, an environmental expert and your editor.
The courses are endorsed by the MCA and the UK Harbour Masters Association and will be held at the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) in Southampton's Eastern Docks on the following dates:
HM15 2 to 4 October 2012
HM16 12 to 14 February 2013
HM17 4 to 6 June 2013
HM18 1 to 3 October 2013.
