Conference Venue sponsored by Knighthood

A new on-site conference venue is being introduced for Seawork International 2018 with Knighthood returning as sponsor. The conference programme will soon be unveiled, offering unique perspectives from industry influencers on key themes in the commercial marine sector.

The vessel operations conference includes sessions on the following topics:

  • The new MCA Codes of Practice
  • Cost saving through operational efficiencies
  • Techniques and the future of hybrid drives

The Seawork 2017 conference saw speakers from BAE Systems, Government Grant & Tax Consultants and the Maritime & Coastguard Agency, delivering sessions on The Changing Face of Search & Rescue; Government Funding; Hybrid Technology; Cost Effective Composite Solutions; Autonomous Surface Vessels as Workboats and Unlocking Power & Profit from Maritime Design Innovation, amongst others.

The 2018 conference programme will cover a broad spectrum of sessions, exploring industry-specific topics with hundreds of delegates attending the conference during the three days of the exhibition.

If you have a specific topic, pertinent to the commercial marine industry, that you would like to put forward, please contact Fay Reeve, Seawork Exhibition Manager: Please note that no company or product presentations will be considered.

Seawork Conference’s sponsor, Knighthood, has for almost 40 years, been acknowledged as a leading Marine Underwriting Agent throughout the UK and Northern Europe, delivering commercial vessel insurance to workboats, pontoons, wind farm support vessels and a wide of tugs and multi role vessels

Simon Griffiths, Director, Knighthood, commented, “Two years ago, we decided to change our involvement with Seawork. Having exhibited on a stand for a number of years, Knighthood embraced the opportunity to sponsor the conference venue and we have been delighted with the response. As attendance at the show continues to grow, we are proud to continue our association with Seawork again in 2018 and are looking forward to what promises to be another great event”.

The Seawork Conference is free for delegates and available on a first-come first-served basis. Delegates can download the Seawork app to help make the most of time spent at the exhibition and to assist in planning their presence at conference sessions.

Visitor registration opens in February. A few final exhibition spaces remain at this sell-out exhibition, please contact the sales team on +44 1329 825 335 or to find out more, or visit
