Nominations are open for the European Commercial Marine awards, including the Maritime Professional of the Year and the Maritime Sustainability Award. Submit your nomination now before the deadline closes on 14 May.

ECM Maritime Professional of the Year

Maritime Professional of the Year nominations are now open. The award, kindly sponsored by GGTC, celebrates exemplary individuals who work within the commercial marine and maritime sector.

So, if you know of a great individual who you work with, whether directly in your company or who works within another organisation that exhibits at Seawork, don’t delay - nominate them now!

Anyone can enter, with the only criteria being that they must work for a Seawork exhibitor and be able to attend the new European Commercial Marine Awards event at Seawork on Tuesday 13 June. All that is required are 200 words detailing why you think your nominee is worthy of this award, plus a supporting picture.

All successful nominations, should they progress through to the next round will receive amble press support from the in-house, dedication press team. Providing even more coverage for the great work the individual, and the business is conducting.

Previous winners of this prestigious achievement include John Haynes of Shock Mitigation Solutions (2016), Anne Hornigold of 54 North Maritime (2015), and Luke Webster of PM Shipping (2014).

ECM Maritime Sustainability Award

The Maritime Sustainability Award will be awarded to the company or organisation operating within the commercial marine and workboat sector, which demonstrates an outstanding focus in its environmental and sustainability efforts.

Submissions for the Award can be self-nominated or nominated by another colleague, company or individual. The nominated organisation needs to be a Seawork exhibitor.

Entries are open to any company or organisation, with the only criteria being that they must work for a Seawork exhibitor and be able to attend the new European Commercial Marine Awards event at Seawork on Tuesday 13 June.

Previous winner of the award, manufacturer of resin composite vessels, CWind/South Boats enjoyed impressive levels of press attention following its victory at the Sustainability Award’s debut in 2016.

As part of the award nomination each company or organisation will enjoy a variety of press activities, before, during and after the exhibition. Allowing for extra exposure of the great work the nominees are completing.
