MSC uses 3D CAD software to develop its craft and their components

The MST team announces a prestigious new contract placed by an overseas Ministry of Defence for five fully-enclosed, all-weather single lift 10.5 metre RIB ‘daughter craft’ with diesel power, Hamilton Jet water jet drive and ‘mouse boat’ Blue Arrow joystick control system. The RIB’s will also feature state of the art military computers with a military specification Furuno navigation suite and will have a high top speed of 45 knots.

Accompanying the order for the RIBs is an order for five compatible 8.5t launch and recovery davits and a full Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) package.Philip Hilbert, Sales Director of Marine Specialised Technology, said “This was a global competition and we are absolutely delighted to have been awarded this prestigious contract. MST was chosen on the grounds of its ability to deliver to the customer craft which fulfil or exceed their requirements coupled with very high levels of quality and attention to detail. Reasons which are fast becoming synonymous with MST”.
