Maricuda's fastest, long distance workboat – ever!
Maricuda will be revealing plans for the 80m, 70 knot vessel which will bid for the Blue Riband of the Atlantic as a precursor to entering its production building phase.
With its modular design features, this ultra fast ocean crossing craft has exceptional multi-role capability for offshore wind farm and oilfield services, for ‘ocean freight’, for passenger ferry services, for border control and drug enforcement and, most appealingly, as a private superyacht. The international companies which are contributing to the design process of the challenge include General Electric, Wartsila of Finland, NAIAD Dynamics from America, Furuno, Renk from Germany, EchoPilot, Demon Alert and Devonport Yachts, several of whom are independently exhibiting at Seawork.
