Godwin Eton joins Coastline Surveys Ltd as geotechnical engineer

Suffolk based Coastline Surveys Ltd expects its latest recruit, geotechnical engineer, Godwin Eton, to be available for consultation on its Seawork stand in 2013.

Mr Eton has over seven years’ industry experience.  He holds a BSc (Hons) in Geology from the University of Calabar (2000), an MSc in Engineering Geology from the University of Newcastle (2005). He has also recently received his PhD at the University of Leeds through researching the geotechnical stability of offshore pipelines.
 
His past work experience spans across site investigation supervisions, foundation designs, pipeline-soil interaction, technical report preparation, consultancy and research. He has worked as a geotechnical engineer on geotechnical and oil and gas related projects in Africa and Europe within major onshore and offshore international consultancies before proceeding to pursue further research studies.

Mr Eton joins Coastline Surveys as a geotechnical engineer responsible for preparation of geotechnical reports from offshore and near-shore geotechnical projects, running the soil logging facility and increasing the company portfolio to include pipeline geotechnics and soil-structure interactions.
