Oxfordshire based company Barrus, is recognised worldwide as a leading custom-engine builder, capable of designing and developing marine engines and accessories to meet the specific operational requirements of commercial operators, professional rescue services, the military and other government organisations.

Celebrating its 100th year in business and a 20th successive year at Seawork, Barrus will be showcasing a range of products in 2017, on display will be Mariner and Yanmar engines including mariner 2-stroke commercial outboards, Mercury’s range including its new 115 Pro XS FourStroke outboard, the 90hp Sea Pro, 3.0litre commercial engine as well as the new Yanmar D-Torque 111 diesel outboard.  

Inboard marine engines from Yanmar and John Deere including John Deere’s new Tier 3 line up of marine diesel engines from 74 to 559kW (99 to 750hp), offering power, reliability, performance, efficiency, ease of integration and maintenance, together with low emissions

Other products from Barrus on show will include, emergency equipment such as salt-water rescue pumps, air portable trash pumps and a range of custom accessories.

Barrus will also be supplying engines fitted to several boats displayed on the pontoons at Seawork opposite the main stand on the Quayside, number Q1.
