The Copper Development Association (CDA), which was part of the Small Business Zone in 2011, will be exhibiting on a larger stand at Seawork 2012.

Due to the existing and potential markets for copper alloys – particularly copper-nickels – in marine environments, across renewable technologies, shipbuilding and repair and most recently in aquaculture, the CDA will be at Seawork 2012 to display some of the innovative products being offered and address questions on their deployment.

As a non-profit trade association, CDA’s remit is to support and encourage the use of copper across its many applications and ensure people make the most of its excellent qualities. In marine environments, the superior corrosion resistance of copper-nickels has made them a mainstay of marine engineering, securing wide use for seawater piping and heat exchangers.

Samples and literature will be available on Stand A237 at Seawork 2012, where experts will be on hand to answer questions and discuss manufacture, fabrication and service performance. For more information, visit www.coppernickel.org.
