A & R will make its Seawork début in 2012. In 2011, the shipbuilder, renowned for vessels of the highest quality, completed delivery of three 25m SWATH@A&R pilot tenders for Belgian pilots on the River Scheldt.

The decision to choose SWATH@A&R technology followed good operational experience by the Elbe Pilot Association since 1999. The Belgian order brings the total of SWATH pilot vessels delivered or contracted to 22, operating across the world. Visitors to the Abeking & Rasmussen stand at Seawork 2012 will learn full details about the designs, specifications and capabilities in all weather conditions.

Nils P Olschner, Head of Commercial Projects at Abeking & Rasmussen, says: “We have decided to exhibit at Seawork, as A&R recognises that it has developed into one of the most important exhibitions for offshore wind service vessels and we would not want to miss the opportunity of meeting our customers at their most favoured show.”
