A brilliant Seawork for H4 Marine
Two short weeks after the close of Seawork 2012, Neil Young of H4 Marine reported a great show for the company.
He said: “It was a brilliant show for H4 Marine and, as always at Seawork, we had a lot of interest in all our products - not only from visitors but from other exhibitors as well. Over the past year, we have seen a marked increase in interest in, as well as sales of, Maritex bearings. This also proved to be the case at Seawork. These Lloyds-approved bearings have proven their worth in military trials and have been fitted to the latest CTruk SWATH vessel, as well as a recently launched submarine. H4’s medium term plan is to set up a manufacturing facility for Maritex in the West Country to support the increasing demand."
Mr Young continued: “Seawork this year marked the start of H4 Marine working together with Exalto UK. Exalto's experience of the pump business and a requirement from Exalto's marine customers for a Lloyds-approved bearing makes them ideal partners. H4 continues to increase sales of the quicKutter rope cutter with commitment for several military vessels at the show and regular customers such as the RNLI, Alicat workboats and Port of London. We've also had a number of enquiries for the Powertrain marine joint from engineers looking for a practical solution for alignment issues. We're now looking forward to a busy year of new projects and working with Exalto UK to really ramp up bearing sales!”
