Hot on the heels of several recent orders and new product launches, GRP Laminates will be showing off the latest in its line of renowned workboats at Seawork this year with a 12.5m vessel on berth V4.

“Extending the range up to 14 metres makes the Clive Jeffery-designed South Cats, built under licence by GRP Laminates, a great choice for the wind farm support fleet,” says Sales Manager Martin Antrobus.

Based on the Isle of Wight, GRP Laminates, which won the Diving & Underwater Technology category in the Seawork 2011 Innovations Showcase with MSV Explorer, can take a project off the drawing board and through to production, with services including design development, prototyping and testing.

Proof of the company’s performance will be on view at the Weymouth & Portland Olympic Games Regatta this summer. When the start gun fires, watch the water for the specially-commissioned 11m committee boat Gyrinus.
