DNV GL is an independent Foundation founded in 1864 whose objectives are safeguarding life, property and the environment. A world wide company offering its services to the Maritime and Renewable Energy Markets.
DNV GL is at the forefront of new technology and has been involved with High Speed and Light Craft for decades. Recently stakeholders and the wind industry have requested a set of Rules specifically tailored for transfer vessels which transport workers to and from the offshore wind turbines. The product is delivered through plan approval, site inspection and in-service survey. The aim is the provision of appropriate safety levels for high speed craft operating outside of the scope of the High Speed Craft Code.
