Maricuda Ltd is a design and innovation company presently engaging with other businesses to take its designs to market. Maricuda is also promoting the Atlantic Challenge for the Blue Riband with an 80m trimaran with new fast boat features to achieve the crossing in under two days. Built by Cornwall based superyacht builders, Pendennis Yachts and powered by two General Electric gas turbines Sister company Maricuda Special Projects Ltd has been recently formed to deliver large scale civil and marine capital projects in partnership with established market leaders. This company is currently making progress with two ship energy saving designs, tsunami protection projects in Japan, a 65MW tidal turbine in S.Korea and a handfull of safety systems for mining, tall buildings and ships lifeboats.
