Copper Development Association

As a non-profit trade association, CDA’s remit is to support and encourage the use of copper across its many applications and ensure people make the most of its excellent qualities. In marine environments, the superior corrosion resistance of copper-nickels has made them a mainstay of marine engineering, securing wide use for seawater piping and heat exchangers. Copper alloy properties are also of interest in the fish farming industry, where the strength, natural biofouling and corrosion resistance of copper alloy wire mesh offers an alternative choice for aquaculture cages, particularly where predator attack can be a problem. Samples and literature will be available on the stand, where experts will be on hand to answer questions and discuss manufacture, fabrication and service performance.
