Simsite® is a graphite combination-fibre reinforced composite with phenolic epoxy resin manufactured exclusively by Sims Pump Valve Co., USA. Simsite® NEVER corrodes in salt water, eliminates electrolysis, and is 1/5th the weight of bronze. All components have exceptional mechanical strength, are 100% machined to a computerised high efficiency design, employ tighter clearances and typically outlast metallic components four times over. Simsite® replacement components such as impellers, casing rings, casings, seal housings, bearings and bushes can be fitted to all centrifugal pumps in almost any pumping application. Customized computer design and precision machining can maximise efficiency and minimise or eliminate cavitation whilst ensuring perfect symmetry and exceptional mechanical and hydraulic balance.
