Alicat Workboats was established in response to demands for new suitable quality vessels, and to provide an essential service and maintenance facility to the rapidly growing commercial workboats market, in all sectors including offshore wind and in 2013 launched new services including Alicat Marine Electrical, Alicat Marine Design. Operating from Great Yarmouth Norfolk, the Seven acre yard has 184m of river frontage with direct access to the North Sea. It has building berths, dry docks along with all the facilities required by a modern Ship Yard, together with all the required trades. Making repairs both efficient and cost effective whilst providing an easy solution to all the vessel owners. Alicat has developed a smaller lift out and dry dock, 35 metres x 9 metres with a draft of up to 2 metres most of which is undercover making repairs achievable in all weathers. We have now installed a Wise 200 ton vessel lif.t
