Kort brings new nozzle design to Seawork
01 May 2008
This design has been developed in response to requests from our friends in the UK fishing industry, says Kort, and is designed to improve thrust and reduce fuel consumption.
Features include a new nozzle section profile with increased lift, improved propeller pitch distribution and closer tip clearance between nozzle and propeller. The nozzle length has also been shortened to allow installation in vessels with a small aperture, especially existing wooden vessels. These design features all add up to an improvement in overall efficiency. Free advice and performance comparisons will be available at the exhibition.
