The new Interceptor 1102 will be unveiled at Seawork 2008.
The new Interceptor 1102 is designed with security in mind
Damen Shipyards of Gorinchem, Holland, has build this specialised craft with security roles in mind: it has been designed for speed and strength throughout.
Structural design uses advanced carbon and glass composites, while the deep-V hull is designed to keep the boat running fast even in high sea states. It has a speed of 57 knots and can be fitted with a range of weapons. Something to remember if you see one coming towards you.
