News about Seawork 2008

Jane looks back – and forward

‘I came into the world of Seawork in 2001 and was immediately struck by the businesslike attitude and enthusiasm of our core exhibitors.

Already, the event had won the loyalty of some of the biggest and most successful companies in the commercial marine sector.’

‘The growth has continued and, by introducing specialist concepts like DiveWork and RIBWork and pavilions dedicated to Fluid Power and Ship Repair, Seawork now represents virtually every aspect of the commercial marine industry.

The Small Business Enterprise Zone, comprising more than 70 stands, gives even small companies with very little budget a method of having a presence, whilst the pontoons provide a unique showcase for more than 60 newbuild vessels and floating exhibits, enabling them to be seen and demonstrated in a real working environment. Seawork's aim is for exhibitors to get the highest return from their commitment in resources and money and for visitors to benefit from the most productive use of their time at the show.

2008, with its greater international reach in exhibitor and visitor numbers, the continued support of the MoD, UKTI and many other agencies and organisations, is promising to be a spectacular Seawork year.' Jane Wilson, Exhibition Manager
