They will be launching a new global partnership for the provision of added value maritime information and forecasting services aimed at ports, harbours, marina and waterfront operators and the related communities. Visitors to the stand will be among the first in the world to learn about new customer driven services.
The new services will embrace state of the art web enabled delivery with novel and informative graphic presentation of the weather environment and climate. It will enable the user to understand and manage the weather risk and support key areas of decisionmaking, according to customer specific requirements. A live site will be on display, enhanced via new media technology.
A particular feature of the service is the enabling of integrated use and exchange of weather, combining wind, wave, tide, current and temperature information with Atmospheric conditions, ie, wind, rain, temperature, visibility and lightening etc.
This ability to rapidly source and view weather sensitive information in context will provide real time and strategic business benefits.
A hospitality event with invited speakers and topical presentations is planned with key stakeholders and their guests, together with an opportunity for all exhibitors and visitors to see the next generation of Maritime information and forecasting services from a new partnership of world leading providers.
