There are six categories: Vessel Design & Build, Electronics, Safety, Vessel Equipment, Marine Civil Engineering and Underwater Technology. The overall winner receives the magnificent Spirit of Innovation Trophy at the Gala Dinner. To qualify for entry, nominated products or services must be genuinely innovative and new and have come to market in the 12 months prior to Seawork 2006.
