RIBwork / DiveWork
01 May 2004
RIBwork is seawork’s response to the RIB industry’s support of the exhibition, with an ever-increasing number of manufacturers of vessels, engines, transmissions, electronics and safety equipment in attendance.
To make the most of your time at the exhibition, RIBwork will be presented in the form of a ‘show trail’, a series of conference sessions and a display of the latest, most exciting and most innovative RIBs on the pontoons. Areas of specific significance to the Ribwork forum will be highlighted by a RibWork logo within the official seawork catalogue.
The DiveWork pavilion will comprise approximately 20 stands. The focus of the show is the Commercial diving sector which includes the manufacture and supply of diving equipment, the design, build and operation of dive and survey boats, underwater contracting – whether this is in respect of survey, salvage or inspection (either of vessels or the port and harbour infrastructure), training organisations and schools and, to a degree, dive shops and other retail outlets.
Companies who have signed up so far include equipment manufacturers such as L&W Compressors, distributors such as Mike’s Waterfront Warehouse, contractors like Atlantas, All Oceans Engineering, Edwards Diving Services and Reach Engineering and Diving Services, PDM Neptech and Del Norte.
Subsea-Vision are having a stand inside and are demonstrating their ROV off the quayside and Seaeye are displaying and demonstrating their range of survey equipment and ROV’s. Stand space costs the same as stand space within Seawork and there is the same entrance for both shows, although visitors will register either for DiveWork or seawork, depending on their main area of interest. They may travel freely between both areas.
The ADC will, once again, be holding their regional members meeting and Supervisor’s Exam at seawork2004
