News about Seawork 2004

Record Fleet Expected

seawork’s unique feature – the varied fleet of vessels available for examination and demonstration – is set to expand this year with additional pontoons amounting to over 200m taking the seawork fleet to over 50 vessels for the first time with a prospect of some 75 exhibits afloat.

Vessels will arrive not only from all parts of the UK but many examples from continental yards will also be on view.

Despite enlarged pontoon facilities for seawork2004, pressure on berths reserved exclusively for RIB exhibits and demonstrations is mounting. Companies as yet undecided whether to attend, would be advised to contact Jane Wilson immediately.

Walcon, who have been seawork’s marina contractors since the very first exhibition, have risen to the challenge of providing the additional berths without encroaching on the commercial traffic passing the site, which includes some of the world’s most spectacular cruise ships.
