Your last chance to say ‘Bon Voyage’ to Transatlantic Bear
01 May 2003
A unique opportunity to see Ocean Dynamics’ 11m open RIB, skipper Bear Grylls, and members of his crew, before they attempt the high latitude transatlantic crossing later this summer.
Ocean Dynamics’ RIB will be displayed on the pontoons at seawork.
The single Caterpillar 450hp engine is coupled to a Hamilton Twin Jet – vital for waters where ice is a major hazard. The specially-commissioned vessel will be leaving for Nova Scotia from the Docks at Southampton immediately after the seawork2003 exhibition closes.
This is your chance to see how one of the most advanced, high specification RIBs ever developed is fitted out for this hazardous undertaking which will head for the north of Scotland, via Labrador, Greenland and Iceland.
