Ocean Dynamics lives up to its name

Shortly after seawork 2003, Rupert ‘Bear’ Grylls, along with four crew members, successfully crossed the Atlantic, via Greenland and Iceland, in the 11m open RIB.

Built by exhibitor Ocean Dynamics and powered by Caterpillar engines driving Twin Disc waterjets: a real seawork family affair. Crew member Lt Andy Lievers (RN), reported in The Daily Telegraph: ‘My job as the onboard engineer was made easy by the design and preparation of the boat.

An excellent engine coupled with the amazing hull made for a 2004 EXHIBITOR LIST robust vessel, giving us a feeling of security that was much needed on the middle two legs of the trip.’

One of the key attractions for the broadcast media was the presence of 21st century adventurer, Bear Grylls, who displayed his craft the Arnold & Son Explorer’ on the pontoons.
