Seawork Celebrates 10 Years

When the doors open at Seawork 2007 International on 12 June, the biggest and fastest growing businessto- business trade event for the commercial marine and workboat sectors will notch up its first

To celebrate 10 years of Seawork, this year’s threeday event will include a barbeque on the quayside on Wednesday 13 June and a new-look Gala Dinner at the City Cruise Terminal, with new caterers and a brand new format.

Other new developments include the introduction of Free parking for visitors, a much bigger Ship Repair and Ship Building Pavilion, incorporating companies such as MMS Ship Repair and Dry Dock, Milford Haven Ship Repairers and Buckie Shipyard, MoD ‘Meet the Buyer’ sessions and a Tug Conference, organised by ITS to coincide with Seawork, which will bring more than 100 high calibre buyers and decisionmakers into the event.

The Fluid Power Pavilion, supported by the BFPA under the direction of Ian Morris, is bigger and better than ever, with companies such as Coleman Hydraulics, Hiflex Fluid Power, Grampian Hydraulics (Macgregor Ltd) and Hercules Hydraulics back for the second year! DiveWork too, is showing an increase in size and popularity, with exhibitors such as Osiris Marine Services, Searchwise Ltd, Kaymac Marine and Civil Engineering, Divex and Miko Marine taking space within the Pavilion. There will be more demonstrations of underwater equipment within the quayside dive tank and Roger O’Kane, Chairman of the Association of Diving Contractors, will once again be running the Diver Time Trials and awarding the ADC DiveWork Cup.
