Miko Marine Supply French Navy

Miko Marine AS have signed a contract to supply the French Navy with Emergency Repair kits. The patented magnetic patches “Miko Plaster”, increase the chances of preventing a total loss or large oil-spill and are approved by Classification Societies such as Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and Germanischer Lloyd (GL). The delivery, for more than 250 French Navy vessels, will be made over the next two and a half years.

Miko Marine will also be promoting the new “Miko Connector” – a helicopterdeployed towing connection which is fitted onto an abandoned vessel in conjunction with a Sea Anchor to reduce drift speed. It is a valuable tool in improving the chances of successful salvage.

Miko Plaster® is now stocked by salvage companies, authorities, navies, and shipowners throughout the world for in-water repair, emergency response and marine salvage. Miko Marine will be demonstrating Miko Plaster within the DiveTank at Seawork 2007.
