News about Seawork 2006

Great Foundation for 10th Year Celebrations

Seawork 2006 exceeded the expectations of both exhibitors and visitors – and the weather was kind too! Record levels of business enquiries were received from the 5,700 visitors who clicked through the turnstiles.

This represented an increase of 10% on visitor numbers at Seawork 2005. Overseas visitor numbers were also up significantly, with Romania, Hungary, Turkey and the Far East among countries represented.

The Seawork pontoons carried a steady stream of quality visitors each day who were looking to view the wide variety of vessels available for inspection and trials. Notable among the fleet of over 50 workboats, were UKI Workboat’s RV Callista, Milford Haven’s new Pilot cutter Skomer and Damen Shipyards’ new 19m Stan Tug, which dominated the scene. Seawork International, celebrating its 10th year in 2007, is now firmly established as the premier business event for the European commercial marine and workboat industry.
